Soya milk is nutritionally close to cow’s milk. Soya is popular as a rich source of protein. Soya milk is promoted as healthy alternative to cow’s milk for reasons including: diabetes management through its ability to control blood sugar, source of lecithin and vitamin E and cholesterol free and safe for people with lactose intolerance or milk allergy.
Tofu, also known as soya curd, is a soft cheese-like food made by curdling soya milk with a coagulant. Tofu is a rather bland tasting product that easily absorbs the flavours of the other ingredients.

Soy yogurt is made in the same manner as dairy yogurt. Pasteurized soymilk is inoculated with acidophilus, bifidus, or other suitable cultures and incubated until the culture has turned the soymilk into yogurt. It tastes very similar to dairy yogurt and is available in a variety of styles and flavours.

Soya Milk Maker
This soya milk maker machine can fast make bean milk. Making Tofu: Dissolve natural calcium sulphate in one cup of warm water and pour the prepared coagulant solution slowly into the hot soya milk while gently stirring the soya milk.
Once all soya milk is separating into small white curds of tofu and an amber liquid, transfer coagulated dispersion into a mould.
A lid is placed on the forming container. A press is placed on the lid of the container and pressure allowed for 20 minutes or so. Empty the resulting block of tofu into a tub of cold water and store it in refrigerator.
More than 20 kg of tofu per day are produced with this small press machine.
